For those of you who treat AC a lot, here’s an interesting interview I did with an AMAZING ND from our office. All I can say is that ALL of my AC Patients now see her for a consult as part of my patient manage protocol for AC!
As a student I was taught that Adhesive Capsulitis was acquired in 2 ways, either you suffered some trauma to the upper extremity or there was an autoimmune issue that lead to the development of it.
Many students are still taught that it can be self limiting in 2 yrs. It’s unfortunate that many patients have to suffer in discomfort and in many cases pain for this long even with treatment. Well, after this video your perception and treatment protocols may change.
